On October 15, Jaguar Land Rover CEO Adrian Mardell announced the appointment of a new senior leadership team to accelerate the pace of automotive transformation and support the company's next stage of growth and transformation. Effective from October 21, Steve Marsh was appointed as Executive Director of Vehicle Programs, reporting to CEO Mardell. With 36 years of automotive experience, Marsh joined Jaguar Land Rover from Nissan in April 2022 and has been responsible for preparing for the production of electric vehicles, currently serving as Global Manufacturing Operations Director. Effective from November 4, Swarna Ramanathan was appointed as Chief Strategy Officer, leading Jaguar Land Rover's strategic creation, innovation, strategic vision, alliances and partnerships, as well as product and customer experience strategy teams, and reporting to CEO Mardell. She has worked in the automotive, consumer, and energy sectors, and was a partner and leader at McKinsey's Future Mobility Center. Meanwhile, John Beswick was appointed as Chief Transformation and Performance Officer, effective from November 4, also reporting to CEO Mardell. Beswick has worked at BT Group for 20 years, holding leadership roles in transformation and finance.
